Since 1994, the Stuart McElrath Company (SMC) has provided Engineering Consulting Services and Equipment for heavy industries including Foundry, Petrochemical and Construction. From conceptual design to complete engineering drawing sets, bid specifications, and project planning, SMC can bring your company's plans to reality. In addition, once the planning is complete, SMC can provide Installation Supervision and Start Up assistance.

SMC has its own line of equipment for the foundry industry as well as pneumatic conveying systems for bulk material handling for use in general industrial applications. SMC's products are designed and manufactured for easy maintenance and reliability. The Stuart McElrath Company can provide custom machine design and fabrication services including equipment rebuilds.

The Stuart McElrath Company's Vibratory Shakeouts (VSM) and (VSR) are designed for Steel or Iron foundry's needing to break molds apart for casting removal and to reduce the sand lumps for reclamation. The Vibratory Shakeouts are designed to hold sand molds and castings, with or without flasks, up to 40,000 lbs. in capacity with a throughput of 30-60 tons per hour.
