The Stuart
McElrath Company is a technology driven consulting firm which
provides solutions in both the Foundry and Computer
Industries. A privately held company, located in Flint,
Texas, the Stuart McElrath Company was founded in 1992
by Michael S. McElrath.

The Stuart
McElrath Company has diversified into the Computer
industry in the areas of Information Technology, Systems
Management and Web Site solutions with emphasis on the
Foundry and Manufacturing Industries.
With SMC's strong emphasis in technology, all phases of
our operations are based on leading edge computer
equipment and software. The Stuart McElrath Company has
maintained a close working relationship with several
leading software companies, providing them with real
world information on beta products. This knowledge
gained from this experience is then carried over to our
customers, providing them with up to date and forward
looking solutions.

I
joined the foundry industry in February of 1978
as a Corporate Project Engineer for
Kast Metals Corporation
of Shreveport La. As a Senior Corporate Project
Engineer, I was involved in many Nobake projects
both in Shreveport, La and Keokuk, Ia.
In 1980, I joined
Dependable Fordath (now
Dependable Foundry
Equipment Company/Redford Carver Foundry
Products Company) and held positions
of Project Engineer, Sales Engineer, Manager of
Plant Engineering, Sales Manager, and Manager of
Engineering and Manufacturing. I duties included
equipment sales, equipment/facilities layouts,
product development and evaluation, field
equipment service, and supervision of large
turnkey projects.
In 1991, I joined Harry
H. Kessler & Associates as a Sr.
Project Engineer. working on feasibility
studies, cost reduction surveys, plant layouts
and design, equipment and site selection and
detail engineering.
I'm currently a member of the
American Foundry
Society, a Senior member of the
Robotics and a Charter member of Vision Systems
of the Society of
Mechanical Engineers.
